There needs to be more queer ways to meet like minded ppl in Canberra

Doesn't everyone agree when it comes to the nations capital there are not enough groups/places or venues to meet queer like minded people?
I have been out for a year and have really only just started dipping my toes in the homosexual water. It's kind of berve racking and with Canberra being so small I would appreciate any advice anyone can give )

Hah, well, i might have to agree with you on that one, but there is actually quite a few good places to meet people. They just arent really broadcast enough! ANU sex dep des a pretty good job from what ive heard, and bit bent is always awesome.. try and get yourself down to that for sure, if not, grab some friends and head to hush or cube, if for nothing else just to have a good time (:

Yeah, it's difficult particularly if you can't get into the clubs/bars. I suggest just meeting people through friends, and other community groups. Just because these places might not be exclusively 'gay' doesn't mean you still can't have fun.
