MY VIEW ON WHAT PEOPLE CALL A 'FREE COUNTRY AND MULTI-CULTURAL"

I am gonna be honest,, I am
not proud
to be Australian.
I believe Australia on a whole is a racist and prejudice nation. I can't speak for the majority of people that is why i am stating my view. Yes there are good and bad in every culture and in every country in the world but Aussies are really good at sticking labels on people, humiliating them and making them feel bad about themselves. When is the racial and prejudice acts going to stop?
I may have a different view to many other individuals but i just feel the need to get it out there.
I believe the only thing Australia has to be proud of is inventing the lawn mower (what else is there to be proud of? VEGEMITE? get real)..
I believe we have a disgusting past (i don't think i need to go into much detail)..
This is why i am not proud to be Australian

I quite like Australia as a country. It could be a hell of a lot worse.
What I don't like is the penchant Australia has for turning patriotism into nationalism.
We have a growing tide of bogan wankers pervading our country with "we grew here, you flew here" bollocks.
So anyone who says they are a "proud Aussie" or bothers with that "AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE, OI OI OI", or shows any leaning towards intense national pride, I'm immediately suspicious of.
