Would it be possible to add some more possibilities to the 'gender' option in the profiles?

A free field where people can type whatever they like, would be best, but even just a third gender option like 'GQ' would be better than just 'male' or 'female'.

Hey Ryan,

Thanks for bringing that up! I always got to it and was a bit put off by it, but i hadnt thought of making a suggestion! ( I have a very one track mind :D)

If we can't get either of those, The free field idea would be best, I think if we cant change it that freely- would it be possible just to get even a blank field with nothing in it?

Thanks

I'll look into it. If anyone is familiar with how to do this on this software, drop me an email  :)

Hi Millsyboy,

If you don't feel like hacking the PHP, I imagine that this plugin should work for you:

I've never maintained a forum, so thats the limits of my knowledge. :)

Just a quick message to say that a *few* more options have been added to the gender field on this site. When I get a chance I will look into extending the list further.

If you don't want to share your gender, or you don't want to put your identity in a 'box' please remember that the gender field is optional and always will be!
