Seriously though, I worry that seeing a naked friend will change stuff!

Interestingly, I've seen many of my friends naked.  Dare I say most of them.  One such friend commented in an unconnected conversation that if you're not friends with someone before you see them naked, the relationship tends to end pretty quickly.  I don't think seeing my friends naked changes anything except the fact that I don't close my door when I'm getting changed (warning to all future housemates...)

1. FINISHED THE STUPID CUPBOARD I BOUGHT TO MAKE MY LIFE EASIER BUT IT IS ACTUALLY THE ANTICHRIST AND TRIED TO KILL ME BUT NOW IT'S FINISHED so that's good.

2. My friend found this charming little song called "you put the fire in me, CC".  You know what, that's actually pretty creepy.

3. Just spent a few days in Merimbula at my parent's house with my girl.  It was really nice.  She didn't break up with me on meeting them, so that's fantastic.

1. Exams is overs. EXAMS IS OVERS. If I passed the calculus half of it, then im pretty sure I've passed the math course.. which means I can go on to do the next physics and math and astrophys courses next semester, which is tits mcgee.
2. Wednesday sees me in brisbane with old friends.. and at a gig theyre holding in the valley on thursdee.
3. I've not a care in the world for three weeks *knocks on wood*

as for friends naked.. I can only think of one and hes normally kitless by 11pm at any party... its not so terrifying when its a regular event... you get use to him coming and giving you hugs, aparantly unaware of clothless state...

3.  I composed, like, THE BEST PIECE EVER...!

1. Went to Victoria for the better part of a week. Fell in love with the place. I am *so* moving there one day!

2. Don't have to return to work until Monday!

2.1. I've managed to keep said job *way* longer than I thought I might, and I seem to be doing well enough at it that I can't see it turning sour any time soon. Sometimes, I even enjoy it. Whodathunkit?

3. Tax refund!

Yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo... Yo

1) I got a PSP, modified the firmware, and now i can run my old playstation games on it! I even got my final fantasy 9 savegame from my pc emulator to wander across to it and shake hands.
2) I got 60% for the algebra component of my final exam.. which, compared to how poorly I did on the midsemester is something rediculous. Of course that wont save me from having to sit the supplimentary on wednesday, which brings me to my final point.
3) My birthday on tuesday! The day after uni recommences and the day before an onslaught of calculus. It's ok to be jealous.

So why is this forum so quiet at the moment? Everyone on holidays? I feel like the Omega Man

Hi Qnet!  I don't have internet at the moment - I'm using my girl's net today (hello, you gorgeous ghost-reader you).  Thus was my silence caused.  Also:

1.  America!  Oh my deity.  So many art galleries and museums and walking and shopping and of course the pretty lady.  Oh, and SQUIRRELS!  And the metropolitan museum of art in New York had an exhibition on comic book superhero fashion.  Woot!

2. New housemates! They are tender and delicious.

3. New Job!  Selling rings that cost more than my house.  So nuts.

1. New Macbook! I just couldn't bring myself to buy a Vista box, so I bought a computer I could love. And love it I do!

2. Back to Bit Bent this week, for the first time in a couple of weeks. Heck, I might just make a guest appearance at Belco tomorrow, despite the drive.

3. Back to work tomorrow. As odd as it sounds, I'm actually looking forward to being crazy busy, with work coming from every direction imaginable...

No real idea why it's so quiet around here. I guess people are busy, or it's slipping minds. Bit Bent's really quiet too, especially at Woden. *hint hint*

Wow Chris, way to steal part of my post :P Ah well:

1. ALSO have a new macbook, and I also love it, as it allows me internet access WITHOUT a trip to uni. At the moment, I'd get wet, so love it all the more

2. Catchup with old friend/s.  Was wonderful. And fun

3. Actually PREPARED for uni, using my time productively.  Am proud :) and not worried about impending uni tomorrow

1. Back at Tafe. New class schedule means I get to start at 12 on Mondays. Hooray!

2. I'm watching retro South Park episodes. I <3 South Park

3. Little Birdy are working on a new album!

4. I will hopefully go to Adelaide to visit my mum next hols

5. My mum is getting involved in gay community stuff.... I'm really happy bout that, because even though she took it relatively well, stuff like this puts me at ease that she actually *is* okay. That, and her boss/friend is gay, so she's becoming a bit of a faghag. As much as someone working in the landscape industry can be a faghag :P
If being gay is a disease, let's all call in queer to work today!

"Hello. Can't work today. Still queer."

1. New Macbook. The more I use it, the more I love it!

2. Work was quieter than I was expecting. Possibly because I've pissed people off, but they don't really matter. The important people seem happy. Actually, after being away for a week in the middle of a branch restructure, surprisingly little happened while I was out of the building.

3. I've got something to look forward to.

Looking forward to next weekend - I shall confirm with the organiser as soon as I know my schedule!

[I'm trying to avoid posting in this thread, but hey, at least it's *some* activity on the board!]

1. I'm now working on the mainframe side of things at work. Completely different to the Java world, it's like starting from scratch again. But it's nice to get the variety. And I got a small payrise a little while back, with the possibility of a substantially larger one in a month or so! Oh, and I get to spend around three days in October seeing what life is like on the front lines, which should be an interesting learning experience.

2. I'm adoring Thursday nights at Cube right now. Meeting heaps of people, and demonstrating yet again that pool playing ability is directly proportional to alcohol consumption! lol

3. I'm feeling really in control of my life right now. Things are good. Nice routine. Doing everything I want to do, and nothing I don't. Sure, it'd be nice to living away from home, doing less ironing, and working less for more, but to me that stuff is completely inconsequential now.

And for anybody wondering what's going on with me and Bit Bent, short answer is I'm not sure. I'm not quitting at this stage, but I am thinking about where it fits for me.

Girly housemate and I swore lots and lots and jumped up and down while less girly housemate looked sadly at the void of internetlessness, and all this glorious bustling seems to have made it work!  Well, less girly housemate still has no net, but that just goes to show he should swear more.  Maybe I'm speaking too soon - still time for it all to blow up again.

1. INTERNET!  I rub honey over it and stroke it erotically.

2. Might be moving in with my lady friend, which would be jolly f******g awesome.

3. I made $87 busking!  Holy easy money, batman!  Which reminds me, aforementioned lady friend bought me a batman comic ^_^  she is feeding my g33k.  And then I watched football with her, so I guess that means I am feeding her jock.

Hope you all are well out there in somewhere-else land!

Are you calling me a girly housemate ladymagpie or are you talking about the house mate who is, (infact) male-anatomily-challenged?

3 good things..

1. INTERNET

2. Very happy with life at the moment, work is great. Dont think i'll ever get sick of call centres. Hanging out with significant other is always great. :)

3. I has pistachio nuts... Om nom nom!
Dad: "How do you know you're gay?"
Me: "Because when I look at naked girls, all I think about is who did their hair."
Dad: "Fair enough."
----------
Some guy: What are you?! Some kind of F***ing poofter?!
Me: I don't know. How many kinds of poofter are there?
