A unique selection of films from around the globe with free entry for all

Come along to the ANU Film Group from August 6 to 11 for the 2012 Diversity Week
Film Festival, a week-long celebration of diversity in film that's open to everyone and (in
the spirit of economic diversity) absolutely free!

From an Indian-set adaptation of Thomas Hardy's quintessentially British novel "Tess of
the d'Urbervilles" (Trishna) to a French-language Finnish film from a Japanese director
about a young African refugee (Le Havre), the eight films on offer are as diverse as it gets.
Other highlights include The Lady, the Luc Besson-directed biopic of Burmese democratic
advocate Aung San Suu Kyi, and a double feature of recent Hong Kong cinema from
acclaimed directors Johnnie To and Derek Yee.

All films are screened in the ANU Film Group’s state-of-the-art 370-seat cinema in the
Coombs Theatre, on the corner of Fellows and Garran Roads in the ANU. Visit
www.anufg.org.au or contact the Film Group via info@anufg.org.au or call 6247 2425 for
full programme details and screening times.
