National Youth Week (5-13 April 2003) is one of the few true celebrations of the ability, energy and creativity of young people in the ACT. It is an annual event encouraging young people to actively participate in showing the positive contribution they make.

NYW2002 was another great success, with over 70 events taking place accross the ACT during the week. The Youth Week 2001 and 2002 report and photos may be accessed at http://www.youthcoalition.net/.
In the ACT a variety of events are being planned for 2003 with the hope that as many young people as possible will have the opportunity to connect with one or more events during the week.
The ACT department of Education, Youth and Family Services have provided, as part of the National Youth Week funding allocation, $5000 specifically for grants to assist in running events and activities for young people during National Youth Week 2003.
