There are short workshops in Canberra for young people who are gay, lesbian, bisexual or not sure. These workshops are run by peer facilitators and coordinated by the AIDS Action Council of the ACT.
Out there!
"Out there" is a free workshop for young men under the age of 26 who are attracted to other men.
It covers topics such as:
- Coming out
- Sex
- Relationships
- Self-esteem
- Meeting other people in the gay community.
'Out there and doing it' is held several times a year. It is facilitated by peer educators, usually guys who have done the course themselves. There is no cost to attend..
